The research nature Postgraduate Study Program (PSP) entitled "MPhil in Advanced Technologies in Informatics and Computers" has as its subject information technology and computer science. This PSP is fully recognized by the Greek state under Official Goverment Gazette number 3958 October 29, 2019.
Purpose of the PSP
The main PSP purpose is the provision of knowledge across the spectrum of cutting-edge technologies and the promotion of research in subjects related to the following research fields:
Computational Intelligence and Cognitive Computing.
Application Development.
Embedded Systems and Robotics.
Secure Cyber-Physical Systems
In particular, the objectives of the PSP are:
The development and improvement of individual and work skills in matters dealt with by the PSP.
The preparation and training of specialized scientists as well as the promotion of their work internationally by promoting science and research in the fields of knowledge dealt with by the PSP.
Preparation for doctoral level postgraduate studies at home or abroad. The training of specialized scientists capable of applying research methodologies and practices to industrial production and business activity in general for the benefit of the economy and society.
The collaboration with Industries, Businesses, Educational Organizations, and Research Centers for the acceptance, use, and dissemination of the most advanced information/computer systems and practices.
The cooperation with Institutional State Structures (e.g. Ministries, Services, Local Authorities, etc.) but also with other Greek, European, and International Scientific Organizations, Tertiary Educational Institutions and Research Centers that deal with issues dealt with by the PSP.
